1st day - Arrival of the group in Sorrento or peninsula. Hotel accommodation. Welcome drink, dinner and overnight.
2nd day - After breakfast meeting with our guide and transfer by private minibus to the port of Capri. Direct hydrofoil to the blue island. On the arrival in Marina Grande transfer to Anacapri to visit the famous Villa San Michele built by the Swedish writer-doctor Axel Munthe around the end of last century. He lived there until 1910. Continue to Capri village by your minibus. Nice walking tour through the famous piazzetta and the small narrow streets where it is possible to see still today the local shops whose windows are full with typical products of the island : limoncello, ceramics, parfumes, sandals hand made etc…Lunch into a typical restaurant to taste the quality and the freshness of fish of the Gulf of Naples. Walking tour in the afternoon up to the Augustus gardens where people can find a great variety of flowers some of them really unique in the world and have a wonderful view of the whole Gulf together with the Faraglioni rocks which are considered the symbol of the island. Transfer to the port of Capri. Direct hydrofoil to Sorrento. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
3rd day - After breakfast departure with our guide up to the hills of the Sorrento peninsula. Arrival in S. Agata sui Due Golfi, about 8 km far from Sorrento. Tasting of the famous Neapolitan “sfogliatella”. Time at leisureand return to Sorrento. Lunch reserved in a typical farm where people an assist to the demonstration of the production of the mozzarella cheese and taste the main local products: home made bread, mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese, olive oil, bruschetta etc…In the afternoon walking tour of Sorrento to visit the main monuments: the cathedral, Correale museum, the Cloister of St Francesco, Palazzo Correale. Return to your hotel, Dinner and overnight.
4th day - After breakfast meeting with our guide and departure to the Amalfi coast. Panoramic stop on the way to see Positano from above. Wonderful town village famous all over and main destination of all those people belonging to the jet-set. Continue to Amalfi , walking tour throught he historical centre, visit of the Cathedral of St. Andrew, the cloister of Paradiso. Time at leisure for shopping. Lunch reserved into a very nice restaurant facing the seaside. Arrival in Ravello in the afternoon and visit of the Villa Rufolo with its beautiful gardens which inspired Richard Wagner writing his masterpiece The Parsifal. Return to Sorrento. Dinner Reserved into a typical restaurant into the historical centre where there will be a demonstration and tasting of the pizza and a party at the end. Return to your hotel and overnight.
5th Day - After breakfast meeting with our guide and departure to Pompei. Visit of the excavations (max 2 hrs). Free time eventually for shopping. Lunch reserved into a typical restaurant where it will be possible to taste the old menu of the roman period “ A tavola con gli antichi romani” . Continue after lunch to the mount Vesuvius . Visit of the crater with the alpine guides. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
6th Day - After breakfast meeting with our guide and departure to Naples. Visit of the Archeological Museum where it is possible to see the most important and precious objects and ruins coming from the excavations of Pompei such as mosaics, frescoes, paintings etc.. Departure to the centre of the town. Short walking tour to see the Galleria Umberto, Piazza Plebiscito, Via Roma. Time at leisure. Lunch in typical Neapolitan restaurant to taste the main courses of the Mediterranean cuisine for example the ragu’. The waiters will be dressed with particular clothes of the XVIII century. Sight seeing tour of the town by coach up to the hills of Posillipo, and down to the port of Mergellina, Castel dell’Ovo, Piazza Municipio, Plazzo Reale etc…. Return to Sorrento, dinner and overnight in hotel.
7th day - After breakfast departure to Paestum, one of the oldest Greek colony very famous for its fertility and the richness of its soil. Visit of the archeological museum containing a rich collection of frescoes belonging to the Greek period. Guided tour of the temples and lunch into the farm “ Del Barone Negri” in Fisciano located. The farm famous for the home made production of the buffalo mozzarella is becoming very famous all over exporting them thanks to the huge production.. Walking tour through the fields, to discover the different cultivations: vegetables, flowers, wine-yards. Return to your hotel, dinner and overnight.
8th Day - After breakfast departure and end of our services.
