Hotel Poseidon

Taking into consideration the history, the location (south-east) and the hotel structure due to Positano’s vertical  shape, the 51 rooms, furnished in a Mediterranean style with all the necessary comforts, are all of different size: The Superior rooms, Junior suites and Suites have a private terrace or balcony with a side sea view. The Standard rooms have a private terrace or balcony overlooking the garden or the village. The Hotel Poseidon has a health centre, the first one in Positano, created to offer its guests and non-staying guests a wide range of face and body beauty treatments, manicure and pedicure, and massages. Apart from the four equipped massage rooms, there are also: the Turkish bath dug into the rock, the sunshower and the Shiatsu room. Another focal place is the large and panoramic gym, fully equipped with up to date machinery for a complete fitness programme. The Poseidon restaurant tries constantly to respect this tradition, giving preference to pasta, vegetable and fish dishes. The indoor dining room was the living room of the villa it is an unusal shape but in a typical style, with terracotta tiled floor, walnut fixtures, windows and wrought-iron railings. During the warmest months, from the end of May through September, the meals are served on the outside panoramic terrace, covered by a very beautiful bougainvillea and grape pergola, that has a wood-burning oven and a grill.
