Classical Campania

1st Day - Arrival of the group in Sorrento or peninsula. Hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight.

2nd Day - After breakfast meeting with our guide and transfer by private mini bus to the port of Sorrento. Direct hydrofoil to the island of Capri. Eventually – weather conditions permitting- Visit of the Blue Grotto. The tour of the island will start from Anacapri to visit the famous Villa San Michele. The Villa was built by the Swedish writer-doctor Axel Munthe at the end of the last centuty. Continue to Capri village. Visit of the Augustus gardens and free time for shopping or eventually lunch.Transfer to the port of Capri in the late afternoon and return to Sorrento. Transfer to your hotel, dinner and overnight.

3rd Day - After breakfast meeting with our guide and departure to Pompei. Visit of the most famous and visited excavations in the world. Free time for shopping or eventually lunch. In the afternoon departure to mount Vesuvius. You will have the chance to take wonderful pictures and to admire from there the wonderful panorama of the Gulf of Naples. Visit of the crater with the alpine guide. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

4th day - After breakfast meeting with our guide and departure to the Amalfi coast. Short panoramic stop on the road to admire Positano from above with its small narrow streets and its beautiful church and its small houses. Continue to Amalfi.Guided tour of the historical centre, of the dome dedicated to St.Andrew. Free time for shopping or eventually lunch. Arrival in Paestum in the late afternoon, visit of the temples and of the archeological museum. Very famous in the past because a Greek colony, it is famous all over today for the production of the buffalo cheese.  Return to your hotel, dinner and overnight.

5th day - After breakfast meeting with our guide and departure to Naples. You will start with the visit of the Archeological Museum where are kept the most beautiful an important ruins coming out from the excavations in Pompei. Continuation to th ecentre of the town up to the Piazza Plebiscito withits Cathedral of St. Francesco di Paola. Walking tour through he historical centre to admire the Galleria Umberto,Teatro San Carlo, Piazza Municipio. Free time at disposal. Return to Sorrento, dinner and overnight in hotel. 6h day After brekafst meeting with our guide and departure to the hills of Sorrento. Arrival in Massa Lubrense to visit a limoncello factory where people will explain all the various process of the production of this liquor famous all over the world. Continue up to Sant’Agata sui due Golfi to make a break and to taste a very good neapolitan coffee .Drive down to Sorrento. Please do not forget you camera to take al the pictures of this wonderful panorama of the Sorrento peninsula!!! Visit of a local farm where it will be possible to assist to the demonstration of the mozzarella cheese and to visit an old cellar of the XVII century. The day will end enjoying an unusual Pizza Party and it will be possible to organise on request even a Tarantella show. Return to your hotel, dinner and overnight.
